David Bowie performed at the Metropolitan in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 2 November 1997, as part of the Earthling Tour.
It was the 77th date of the tour, which began on 7 June 1997 in Lübeck, Germany.
The performances of ‘Hallo Spaceboy’ and ‘The Voyeur Of Utter Destruction (As Beauty)’ appeared on the 1999 live album liveandwell.com.
Bowie’s guitarist was Reeves Gabrels, and Mike Garson played piano and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, vocals and keyboards, and Zack Alford played the drums.
