David Bowie performed at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on 30 September 1997, as part of the Earthling Tour.
It was the 61st date of the tour, which began on 7 June 1997 in Lübeck, Germany, and the first of two consecutive nights in Boston.
Bowie’s guitarist was Reeves Gabrels, and Mike Garson played piano and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, vocals and keyboards, and Zack Alford played the drums.
Bowie had previously performed at the Orpheum Theater on 20 November 1991 during Tin Machine’s It’s My Life Tour. He returned for a final time on 23 October 2002 for the Heathen Tour.
