Recording: Sell Me A Coat

Feathers – David Bowie, Hermione Farthingale, and John ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson – recorded new vocals for ‘Sell Me A Coat’ on 25 January 1969.

The new recordings were for the Love You Till Tuesday film, which began filming the following day.

‘Sell Me A Coat’ used the backing track from Bowie’s 1967 album recording. The session took place from 5-10pm at London’s Trident Studios.
