David Bowie performed at Los Angeles’ Universal Amphitheatre on 12 September 1997, as part of the Earthling Tour.
This was the first of two shows at the venue. Bowie had previously performed there for seven consecutive nights on 2–8 September 1974, during the Diamond Dogs Tour.
The 5,200-seat venue amphitheatre in September 2013 and was demolished to make way for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood.
