David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre on 7 October 1972.
It was the 63rd date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972.
They performed 18 songs: ‘Hang On to Yourself’, ‘Ziggy Stardust’, ‘The Supermen’, ‘Queen Bitch’, ‘Changes’, ‘Life On Mars?’, ‘Five Years’, ‘Space Oddity’, ‘Andy Warhol’, ‘My Death’, ‘The Width Of A Circle’, ‘John, I’m Only Dancing’, ‘Moonage Daydream’, ‘Starman’, ‘I’m Waiting For The Man’, ‘White Light/White Heat’, ‘Suffragette City’, and ‘The Jean Genie’. The final song had been recorded over the previous two days, and made its live debut at this show.
