Davie Jones and the Manish Boys performed at the Witch Doctor in Marine Court, St Leonards-on-Sea, on Saturday 30 January 1965.
The venue was situated above the ground floor. After the show two of the Manish Boys, guitarist Johnny Flux and organist Bob Solly, were stuck in the lift for an hour due to a power outage.
