David Bowie performed at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France, on 20 February 1996, as part of the Outside Tour.
It was the 66th date of the tour, which began on 14 September in Hartford, USA.
Bowie’s guitarists were Carlos Alomar and Reeves Gabrels. Mike Garson played piano and keyboards, Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, and Zack Alford was on drums. Peter Schwartz played synthesizer and was the musical director, and George Simms was on backing vocals and keyboards.
Bowie had previously performed at the Bercy on 2 and 3 April 1990 during the Sound+Vision Tour. He returned there on 20 and 21 October 2003 for A Reality Tour.
This was Bowie’s final live show until the tour resumed in Tokyo on 4 June 1996.
