Iggy Pop performed at Newcastle’s City Hall on 2 March 1977.

It was the second date of The Idiot Tour, in which David Bowie played keyboards.

Bowie had performed at City Hall with the Manish Boys on 5 December 1964. The Ziggy tour also called there on 2 June 1972 and 7 January, 8 June, and 30 June 1973.

He performed there again during the Isolar II Tour on 14, 15, and 16 June 1978.
