David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Southampton’s Civic Centre on 19 June 1972.
It was the 40th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January.
The tour had previously called at Southampton’s Guildhall on 11 March 1972, and returned there on 19 June 1973.
