David Bowie and his girlfriend Angela Barnett took part in a photo shoot together on 17 November 1969, for the magazine Fabulous 208.
The shoot took place at Rules Restaurant, at 34-35 Maiden Lane in London’s Covent Garden. The photographer was Roger Brown.
Rules was established by Thomas Rule in 1798, making it the capital’s oldest restaurant. On 31 December 1973 RCA held a press lunch there in Bowie’s honour.
