David Bowie returned from Hamburg to London on 21 September 1968.
He had been in the German city to film a second appearance on the music TV show 4-3-2-1 Musik Für Junge Leute, made by the ZDF network.
Bowie had arrived in Hamburg on 19 September, and filmed his appearance the following day. Bowie was accompanied on the trip by his manager Kenneth Pitt.
