On the evening of Thursday 30 May 1968, David Bowie gave an interview to BBC radio’s Late Night Extra.
The interview took place at the BBC’s Broadcasting House in central London. The show was hosted by Australian presenter Barry Alldis, and was broadcast on both Radio 1 and the Light Programme.
